Here you can find all of my vampire information sheets & a comprehensive list of all of my characters!
This is a list of characters I write. Most of these are inactive/semi-hiatus, unless marked by an asterisk.
Each of my vampire species has different perks / traits;
These are comprehensive lists, but are subject to updates / changes.
Purebloods Vampires who are born.
Origin: The Primasâ The first vampires said to be born of the lost souls of purgatory, who gathered blood from a serpent sent from the depths of the Underworld by the God Primis Tenebris in order to satiate the souls of the abyss.
Physical Attributes
Porcelain, or otherwise perfect skin that is cold to the touch
Born with no blemishes, birthmarks, or flaws.
Slender
Delicate facial featuresâ Usually appear no older than 30 years of age.
Tall
Average Height for Males: 6â0â
Average Height for Females: 5â10â
Hair usually grows quite long, past their hips (or longer) unless cut in their âteenageâ years (this decision is made entirely by the individual)
Ghost-like, barely there irises. From a distance eye color is indistinguishable. Pupils appear to be pale grey, compared to a humanâs black.
Fingernails appear to be glasslike, and manicured. They tend to be long, and clawlike.
Other Traits and Attributes
Heightened Senses [Keen sense of hearing, and sight]
Fangsâ Depending on the year/era a Pureblood was born, the amount of sharper canines and surrounding teeth may vary.
Does not require constant feeding (One or two times a week usually suffices, but depending on how old a Pureblood is, they can survive without feeding for about a month.)
Weaknesses
Low Sun Resistance
Sun resistance is usually low, but depending on their last feeding, and feeding frequency, Purebloods can only last between 10 to 30 minutes in the sun, before suffering burns on exposed skin. If they are exposed for too long, they will turn to ash.
Selective Feeding
Purebloods can only handle about a pint of non-human blood before they get sick to the point of vomiting. Non-human blood includes demons, other vampires, shifters, etc. (the only exception is if a Pureblood is raised on the blood of their mother, though these particular vampires are known as Necroses).
This is much different than the vampiric custom of âmarking,â in which a vampire sinks their fangs into a lover in order to assert their devotion.
Turned Vampires. Once human, turned vampires.
Origin: Purebloods. The first creation of turned vampires was highly controversial, and hadnât been widespread until the 16th century. No one really knows how it started, or how the venom of a Pureblood was discovered.
Physical Attributes
Porcelain skin (Depends on the birthmarks, freckles, and scars a turned vampire had prior to being turned, but otherwise wounds heal during the turning process)
Dull eyes; light does not reflect off of them as clearly as a humanâs
Hair cannot be cut or trimmed as it will grow back within 30 minutes; they are stuck with the hairstyle/hair length they had prior to being turned. This goes for facial hair as well
Fingernails grow to an almond shape and appear to be glasslike
Other Traits and Abilities
Heightened senses (though inferior to a Purebloodâs senses; much better than a humanâs)
Fangsâ Shape and sharpness usually inherited, depending on the vampire who passed the gift of immortality.
Feeds every week (Unlike Purebloods, turned vampires require blood at least once a week. This is usually supplemented by âblood suckers (suckers/candy made from blood)â, blood cocktails, or basic blood bagsâ This is a modern day solution)
Sun Resistance for up to 8 hours
Cupidâs Arrow (Though the venom of a turned vampire is not strong enough to turn a human, it does affect a humanâs perception of pain, and has the ability to make a human fall in love, and devote themselves to a turned vampire if they so wish)
Weaknesses
Cannot turn humans (The venom they carry is not potent enough)
Usually messy drinkers (Do not have the skills/know-how to drink without making a mess out of the bite area. This does not improve with age)
Necroses [neh krÉs iz], or Necros [neh krÉs]. Vampires who feed off of their own kind.
Origin: The Propra Sango familyâ A family of Purebloods that refused to raise their children on the blood of humans; prioritizing life over anything.
Physical Attributes
Porcelain, or otherwise perfect skin, with the exception of visible veins around the temples, the collarbones, and the arms.
Slender
Delicate facial featuresâ Usually appear no older than 30 years of age.
Tall (Taller than Purebloods); Average height for Males: 7'0" - Average height for Females: 6'3"
Hair usually grows quite long, past their hips (or longer) unless cut in their âteenageâ years (this decision is made entirely by the individual)
Almost completely white eyes, with the exception of an almost smudged out looking grey; usually seen glowing, mostly prominent at night
Fingernails appear to be glasslike, and manicured. They tend to be long, and clawlike.
Other Traits and Attributes
Heightened Senses; Slightly better than a Purebloodâs
Fangsâ Usually sharper than a Pureblood'sâ cuts through soft tissue very easily
Fragrant Blood; once their blood is exposed to the air, the smell of roses permeates the space around them
Does not require constant feeding; Since they feed from other vampires, they are sustained for longer; up to four months.
Very sensitive to emotions, and energies; can read a room almost perfectly.
Clean Feeders
Since they feed off of other vampires, it is very easy for them to get away with such things; a normal vampire usually heals quite fast. There is no need for a Necros to be afraid of someone finding out about their âsecret.â
Weaknesses
Very low sun resistance; Sun resistance is almost non-existent as the nutrients provided by humans arenât there to help protect a Necros from sunlight.
Photosensitivity; Hard for their eyes to adjust to daylight or very bright lightâ if they wander outside, they are usually seen wearing some protective eyewear i.e. sunglasses.
